Stephanie is a native of East Tennessee where she currently resides with her husband, Brad, and their two sons, Ethan and Noah. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee, College of Business with a Bachelor’s degree and honors in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, and Political Science. Stephanie continued her education as a Volunteer, earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law. During her time at UT Law, she worked as a judicial clerk to Judge Bill Swann in the Knox County Fourth Circuit Court. Stephanie also spent time on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. working for the Charles G. Koch Foundation and George Mason Law and Economics Center.
Stephanie is licensed in both Tennessee and Virginia. She is the past President and Vice President of the Bristol Tennessee Bar Association, and an active member of the United States Federal Bar, the Virginia State Bar, and a child advocacy support group which advocates for children’s interests across the state of Tennessee. She is also the founder and managing partner of Epperson-Stuart Law in Blountville, Tennessee.
Stephanie began working with the firm in 2015 as an independent contractor, and officially joined the team as an associate in 2016. Her practice includes all areas of civil litigation, with a focus on medical malpractice, estate planning, family law, and a special focus on adoption law.
