On Behalf of | Jan 12, 2018 | General News

Downtown Johnson City law firm Herndon, Coleman, Brading & McKee, LLP has announced that McKenna L. Cox has been named a Partner of one of the area’s oldest law firms. Cox joins Johnathan Minga, Bradley Griffith, Elizabeth Hutton and J. Matthew Bolton as the firm’s Partnership.

Cox graduated Magna cum Laude from Wofford College with a Bachelor’s degree in English, Spanish, and Latin American Studies. She holds a Master’s Degree in Romance Languages and Literature from UNC-Chapel Hill and is fluent in Spanish. McKenna received her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2005 with a concentration in Advocacy. McKenna has over a decade of experience in family law, domestic violence, mediation, powers of attorney, immigration, conservatorships, and litigation practice. She is a Rule 31 listed family mediator in the State of Tennessee.

“Since joining the firm in August of 2015, McKenna has allowed the firm to continue to diversify our areas of practice in order to better serve our clients. As a solo practitioner, she was well respected for her expertise in the areas of immigration law and domestic relations, and we were happy to have her join us.  We are very proud and honored to be able to bring her into the partnership,” Matthew Bolton commented on the firm’s decision.
